A Yard Full of Leaves

Father God, 

I want to express my gratitude 

for the massive amount of leaves 

decorating our front yard. 

I praise you Lord for 

these beautiful moments, 

for the warmish fall day, 

the giggles, 

the free entertainment. 

I praise you for the sun that kissed their cheeks

 as they enjoyed a day with daddy. 

Enjoying the gifts you have given to us. 

A yard of our own. 

With two big trees, 

and 5 million leaves. 

Thank you Lord for this moment,

 and all the ones yet to be experienced 

in this yard 

in the years to come.
