Part of the reason I started my blog is to encourage me to write regularly. In doing this, I wanted to be sure that I don't just focus on essay/blog writing but that I cover various different writing styles and develop my creative instincts. As a result, I created "Fiction Friday" for myself. The goal is to write a "piece" of fiction and post it each Friday. So far the pattern has been that it get's posted around midnight or shortly there after, so I encourage you to check in early each Saturday to see what has developed.

I asked followers of my blog to leave story suggestions. The end result is a piece on character building, with an emphasis on dialogue. This piece will probably take me several weeks/installments to finish, but I hope it will be worth the wait.
